Building the site

You must clone all of the associated Huntr Software projects to build the site. Follow the build guide which walks you through producing a local copy of the site under build/site/.

The pages are static HTML with relative URLs. You can open build/site/index.html locally in a browser and navigate the site offline.

Automated production deployment pipeline

The huntrsoftware.com production site is hosted on a DigitalOcean Droplet. The production deploy pipeline is automated using Forgejo Actions workflows. See the CI/CD guide to learn how that's set up.

Versioning & releases

• Pushing an X.Y.Z tag deploys the site to the production host.
• Patch tags (Z) replace the docs of their X.Y version.
• Major (X) and minor (Y) tags add new entries to the site's docs version list.
• A manual dispatch deploys the site without pushing a new tag; the branch/tag must be manually selected (main preferred).
